If you are looking for a location to host a “Peace-filled” getaway for your group, there is a peaceful retreat area in north San Diego County that is both convenient and very reasonable. Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside provides both indoor and outdoor settings for presentations and fellowship.
 
The retreat center kitchen staff offers a variety of menu options. A bonus feature is a personal tour of the chapel and museum courtesy of Christine. She taught California history for fourteen years and visited this mission with her classes on several occasions.
